Course Overview
Creating compassionate, inclusive, and psychologically safe workplaces is essential in delivering high-quality care and retaining a motivated NHS workforce. This evidence-informed course, based on the NHS England Civility and Respect Toolkit, equips leaders and healthcare teams with practical skills to foster a culture of kindness, dignity, and mutual respect.
Facilitated by Dr. Nistor Becia, MBE, a Chartered Psychologist with over 17 years of experience in workforce wellbeing and leadership within mental health settings, this training explores the links between workplace culture, staff wellbeing, and patient outcomes. It introduces participants to restorative approaches, behavioural accountability, and leadership strategies that reduce bullying and incivility.

Dr. Nistor Becia, MBE is a Chartered Psychologist with over 17 years of experience in mental health, learning disabilities, and staff wellbeing. He has contributed to national initiatives on trauma-informed care and inclusive leadership, and was honoured with an MBE for services to mental health and his support of international staff in the UK.
